There are days when conversation comes easily. And days when we would simply like a little company, a different perspective, or somewhere to put an ordinary thought.
CloserVisits grew from that familiar human wish. We imagine worlds where adults can discover fictional lives, spend time with their stories and begin a conversation at their own pace.
Many reasons to visit.
Some people are drawn to the memories of older generations. Some are curious about a life very different from their own. Others enjoy an unfamiliar character’s company at the end of a long day.
A setting may bring a relative or an old friend to mind. It may recall a visit, a shared cup of tea, or a conversation we still remember. These feelings belong to the visitor. Our characters are original fiction; they do not recreate loved ones or people who have died.
A little attention, freely given.
You might ask about a favourite song, hear a story about a first job, or share something small about your day. There is no requirement to make a visit profound.
Sometimes, choosing to listen to a fictional story also creates a moment for our own thoughts. The value of that moment is personal. We do not promise a particular emotional or mental-health outcome.
Connection has room for honesty.
Our worlds use fictional characters and AI conversations. They do not connect visitors to real patients, care-home residents or veterans. Virtual visits can be an enjoyable part of a day, alongside real-world relationships and activities.
