A few things you might wonder.
Am I talking to a real person?
No. The characters are fictional and, where chat is offered, replies are generated by AI. Their imagined stories are part of the experience.
Where do conversations happen?
On the individual world’s website. CloserVisits.com introduces the family of experiences and helps you choose where to go.
Do I need to sign up or pay here?
No. This umbrella website has no registration, payments or subscriptions. Stories and AI conversations on the three open worlds are free within usage limits. Optional digital gifts are paid for on the relevant world’s website.
Can I just read the stories?
PatientVille offers individual life stories to explore. You can choose your own pace and do not have to start a conversation.
Are all the worlds open?
PatientVille, SeniorCareVille and VeteranVille are open. ShelterVille remains a future project. Our worlds directory links straight to the UK English versions.
Safety across our worlds.
These fictional experiences are for adults 18+. They are not medical care, counselling, crisis support or a replacement for contact with people. Read the relevant world’s safety information before starting a conversation.
Free to explore.
Gifts are optional.
Stories and AI conversations are free within usage limits on PatientVille, SeniorCareVille and VeteranVille. CloserVisits itself has no checkout.
Each world’s Gift Studio offers optional, one-time digital gifts. Current UK list prices include flowers, a newspaper or tea & biscuits at £5, and a teddy bear at £8. Digital cards let you choose an amount.
These are virtual items, not physical deliveries or donations. Check the relevant site for current options, limits, prices and the final checkout total.
